The value for the money was great, and we got an unexpected upgrade to a spacious and unique room. The location was perfect, with plenty of cafes and shops nearby, yet the hostel was in a quiet area. The staff, especially the lovely owner Ann, made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
Menu for breakfast could have been more diverse.

The hotel facilities were great, with lockers, a pool table, and plenty of outdoor chill space. The cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, and the private room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the social atmosphere and had the opportunity to meet some really nice people. this hostel provided excellent value for money and we would definitely stay here again next year.

The private double room we stayed in had a lovely porch area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. the location of the hostel was excellent, just a short stroll away from the vibrant center. the host was incredible, super friendly and laid-back, making us feel welcome right from the start. we had a great time at this affordable accommodation.
The beds in the dorm rooms were not very comfortable, and it would have been nice to have curtains for added privacy. the Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable, and there were a fair number of insects around due to the hostel's garden setting.

Stayed in a cute bungalow with a friendly host. Perfect location for exploring the area. Great for young and old "veteran-backpackers" like me who enjoy the hostel vibe but prefer a private room.
Who needs hot water and clean bathrooms anyway? I had the privilege of experiencing outdated facilities and a lack of privacy.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the concierge service was just a delightful addition to my stay. So helpful and attentive!

Stayed at Sunny Tayai Hostel Pai, smelled like a wet dog in my room. No hot water, dirty bathroom, lizards and bugs everywhere. So relaxing, I couldn't even take a proper shower! Don't bother, find better accommodation.
Room smelled worse than a zoo.
